Which octane max plugin version are you using and Which 3ds max version.
FYI: The script doest NOT support max plugin version 1.9 and below.

Please always read the first post and also readme files I supplied. It says it will not work before 2.23.2 standalone core and 2.2 max plugin version. So it wont work with your version.rfox wrote:I use max octane plugin version 2,04 and 3DS Max 2015
It will work starting with OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v2.23.2 - 2.2 [TEST] and beyond that version.

Now, it's working as should after I update octane Max v. 2.23.2-2.2
Thank you!

That problem is already solved.mark0spasic wrote:Hi, I`m having trouble with your script I tested it in max 2014 and I get this message when I try to start script.
problem was the supplied material file saved in 2016.
if you download the latest version from the link in the first post
it should work now
let me know.

I still get the same message. Maybe your file OctaneShortcuts\Scene_HdriV4.mat is saved in max 2016? I`m using max 2014 Octane 2.23.2-2.8 and Octane shortcuts v4.3 , I previously had installed v4.2 and everything was ok.

yeah the mat file is the problem.mark0spasic wrote:I still get the same message. Maybe your file OctaneShortcuts\Scene_HdriV4.mat is saved in max 2016? I`m using max 2014 Octane 2.23.2-2.8 and Octane shortcuts v4.3 , I previously had installed v4.2 and everything was ok.
I corrected it earlier.
