You will not loose any quality, just some lights will be more 'important' than others - that might be a solution in some cases.

Overall I'd go bit different route that is loosely covered in my signature (with free scenes), even if the scene is open You can use the same technique in interiors. Shortly speaking render bigger picture & use inbuilt noise reduction tools =)

ok. so i increase the sample rate of the lights to 600, set the PT to 6000 and i got the exact same result. I rendered it at 4K and tried reducing it to 2K but I'm not getting the results...

I don't was a super clear image but its just way to much noise... even a topaz denoise app can't remove it

PS. Did you try to set GI clamp to 1-10 values?

orbx? I'm on c4d how would i export that?

i set the go clamp to 250000 i think it was previously 1 million

yeah, GI clamp helps things speed up alot. I just started messing with this setting today and can testify.
