I am working on a new sampling. May it will help.FabioHartmannFernandes wrote:After 46:30 hours of render... isn´t enough

I tried a lot of configurations...
I tried to change the lights from octane lights to planes with blackbody emission... then i´ve tried planes with texture emission...
Then i´ve tried IES lights (don´t do that)... infinite slower
I´ve tried to tweak light sample, GI clamp, ISO, exposure, etc... but the noise is impossible to get rid off
I don´t have problems with fireflies what bothers me is the noise... the image is completly noisy..
I need some help here...
Thank you
Fabio
I always wondered what is it SAMPLES. Seems like increasing value made some of my IES light less noisy. manual did not mention about samples ThanksKarba wrote:That will not helpcoilbook wrote:did you try increase light samples to 1000-10000 same button is in mesh emitters. it worked for mewhersmy wrote:tried very low poly emitters? always make them as low as possible

if you don't need to animate the camera try to reduce the elements non visible by the camera.
tur off all unnecessary lights.
use massively the layers.
there are some circumstances when the noise is always visible in darker or glossy areas.
try to use PT, set the samples for each light. Big emitters set to 1, tiny emitters 100
Try turning the lights one by one or groups to check the speed and the noise after few minutes.
