Hello Rikk !
I am convinced that Hdri Light Studio and Octane Render will work very well.
New pictures are coming soon with it. ;)

Thank you lixai for the references.
My preference goes to the images of whites Gallardo. I think they are real. There are so much details.

Glad I could help! ;)
I only wish Octane will be officially supported by HDR Light Studio, as they already have support for many other rendering engines... :(

Hi Rikk. Riiiight.
Finally, I bought HDRI Light Studio. It is a process of creation very interesting even if it is a bit confusing at first. :ugeek:
By cons, there is one thing I do not understand.
There is an offset of 0.250 on the HDRI file to find a complete correspondence between HDRILS and Octane.
And an offset of 0.500 if an existing HDRI file is used as a base ... So it is not possible to combine the two. Strange thing...

A new Aventador before the closeups.

Cheers.

pjueehhh horrible !

Njaaah it looks like a real studio photo shoot, so you think hdri studio light is a must buy for studio shots, it's also in development for lightwave now (don't know how far off) so considering it...

Looks great,

High regards,

Poly

Thx polytek. :D
HDRILS is not essential but still useful and complementary to understand the working of enlightenment.
I think the use of the panels is required.
A little closeup.

I looked over the other Plugins provided. Maya seems the only one with open Python files. Cinema4D has even an encrypted compiled Python file. Even if your familiar with Cinema4d plugin coding, without the source I'm afraid it seems to be impossible. Get the source and a Cinema4d plugin guy and its easily done I think. :)

I just thought about another solution. If you have another supported Renderer in C4D you could use this Environment as the Filename source. Because everything HDR Light Studio is doing, is to update the filename with the updated temp hdr file from the standalone. If its possible to link the filename attribute of the supported Environment with the filename attribute of the octane renderer it should work as a workaround.
I pretty sure this workaround would be possible in Maya as you can link any attributes of any nodes. Never used Cinema so I don't know if there is such option too?

Hi dionysiusmarquis,
Should probably refresh HDRI file for each change. :?

A new version of the Aventador more consensual.
Comments welcome. :D

Edit : Corrected version with improvements especially on windows. ;)
