All depends on your needs.
For me a product render doesn't need massive amounts of ram. But rendering 900-1200 frames of animation requires more speed.

cubix gpu expander is a lot expensive!! :D
maybe when there will be support for istance there will be a large amount of memory?

Yes but you will need a decent power supply - 1000W or more with enough connectors (6x6pin).
Also you need a mobo with enough pci-e slots and widely spaced enough for the cards - these all take 2 slots.
I would add another 4gb of sys mem as well
