Do you have another Blender versions installed on the same system? If you had Blender 2.68a previously on this system - perhaps its config files in your home folder interfere with this new installation...

Just add libGLEW 1.6 libraries to this system.

And please check that you do not start OctaneServer as root. This service should be started from user account.

ok,now blender work...From octane_blender_1.20.2-2.3.run --tar xf and run OctaneServer from folder(example:Destop/bin) it works.
For Octaneblender go to preference and activate the plugin octanerender engine
only one crash using materiallivedb
