@Wincui: I think it took about 4-6 hours to render properly, i think, i don't remember anymore actually.

@DH3D: You're right with the lighting and plant i'm putting it elsewhere. Thx for the feedback.

About the progress on the scene I'm having a headache with my scale actually, i recently discovered that in 3dmax i had my units in meters but in the advanced options (i have never looked into it... ) i discovered that thescale there was set to 1unit=1inch!!!!

I don't really know how to handle the situation quite yet.

I set the scale to 1unit=1 meter inside max and i made a cube 1x1x1m to be able to scale the scene back to the good size. On the exporter i set the scale to 1.

When i imported the scene into octane the scene looked good, very good to my taste, light quality seemed better but i couldnt move the camera nowhere, only could ony change the direction i was looking in.

Someone knows the exact way to export the scene with the good scale? i've been looking into the exporter thread but i couldn't find a solution.

I think i got my scale problem solved but i´m getting a lot of noise with 2.3_4

The rest don't seem to have a problem with this kind of noise somebody got a clue what it is?

This is after 30 min rendering.

Nice scene. I prefer the colors of the first one.

So much noise ! I think that there is not enough light going in the room. It is like with a digital camera : less light = much noise. Did you try to play with both light power and exposure or ISO ? you could find a compromise giving less noise I think.

I have worked mainly on external scenes so far, except one living room scene in my early test of Octane with a demo and I have not encountered so much noise.

Hi there, finally rendered the final scene, 14h42 min on version 2.3_4

I see people rendering with videocards like mine much faster, i still don't get why it's so slow with mine :( jajaj but i'm still g;ad on the quality!

Which Cuda drivers should i have? and geforce?

I would appreciate some advice, i'm applying for a job before the end of the week and i would like to finish some more scenes.

Thx in advance Mateuet :D !
