Had a spare 30 mins today to try out
a pmc test with hdri, and a small emission plane
for a little extra kick.

still a little to dark I think.

I try to stay on the light side young Visuall
theres too much trouble on the darkside for me!!

I've added a day light pass, its a little better now.

i often use opacity in the ceiling its a great way to
add lots of light to the scene.

Great images Daveyt, i'm a fan of DL to.

The pmc 3d are very good.
The first one is a bit dark but the 2nd looks really nice.

Can you explain what you did?
I've added a day light pass, its a little better now.
Best regards

Hi Resmas,

I used a technique that many people are using at the moment
as octane does not support hdri and day light in the same pass.

first you render your image using a hdri, then render it again
using the day light environment.

you then mix the two images together using gimp/photoshop

look for a user called paquito he has done a video called mixing hdri and sky
in the forum gallery, he explains it well.

regards
