Shift + RMB = Camera dolly (what I think you are calling image pan), camera and target point move left, right, up, or down
Ctrl + Alt + RMB = Camera Pan (camera position stays static, target moves)
(Ctrl + RMB) or mouse wheel = move camera forward / back, target stays static
(Alt + RMB) or (Mouse wheel + Alt) = move camera and target forward / back
Shift + Ctrl + Alt + RMB = Lens zoom (camera and target stay static)
Shift + Alt + RMB = roll camera (change camera up vector)
More keys and more camera commands than it looks like you allow, but that is the full list.
