I rigged the bot for animation purpose, but I can not export 40-50 animated objects in a single OBJ-Sequence, without of a huge amount of manual effort.
Lightwave is in this case different from other apps. I am seeking a workaround/workflow.

got OBJ epxort sequnce build in xsi . If You can export me animation in some other format I can convert it for You if You want.

Hi [gk], mlody47, thanks for your advice ! ;-)
Can Max or XSI handle OBJ-Sequences of 200MB per Frame ?

Modo and Maya have cracked down...

XSI can handle 400MB and more for sure. Never need more than 400 , but its more than 200 :)

another solution for me would be Houdini, the free edition :

I checked your link. Houdini "starving artist" edition can be used for non-commercial purposes. I tried to find the license agreement from the Side Effects Software website with no luck.

Is it legal to create an animation with free Houdini software and then release it with Creative Commons non-commercial license? What are the limits of non-commercial in this case?

I even checked the Houdini licensing FAQ, but that was only about the technical details of getting the software activated, with no mention about the legal side of things...
