Hi,
Just a small test, the scene was made for the test itself, I didn't intent to make anything more than a plane with grass, but with Octane is hard to resist.. :)
645 million polygons, various of greenery , nothing special really, render time for the entire animation was 64 min. Some small post in AE for motion blur. Rock solid plugin, no crashes for the time of starting the scene to the final render. 3dsmax 2012 used.

One GTX 480 used, hand painted greenery, i tried PFlow but it seems Octane is not there yet, no other scatter plugin actually worked. Pathtracing used. Resolution 1280x720. Youtube destoyed the video quality quite a lot.
