Last Nvidia driver 301.42 doesn't work with multi-gpu : the render time is the same with 1 or 2 GPUs. So, I desinstalled it and reinstalled Nvidia driver 285.62.

Here, with two EVGA GTX 580 3GB, I have encountered a GPU failure on one of the two GPUs, with Driver 301.42, but it happens only sometimes.
When it happens, it requires to switch off both the computer and the Cubix box and reboot.

Yes thats how I experience it too. Only one card fails but the rendering is also slowing down dramatically for the single card.

same issue gtx460 + gtx580. Standalone and older versions (pre instancing) work fine. 3ds max plugin 3.00a/b often fails after few minutes. But its always gtx580 which fails. It fails even when i set gtx460 only for viewports.
