Error : "Unable to determine network connection type"

Hi,
I am getting this error when i start my "Octane.2.58e" :

"Unable to determine network connection type - Please contact Refractive Software Support"

Kindly solve this issue.. this is extremely frustrating!

Same here got the exact problem??? I can't find any solutions :(

Hi,
I purchased and installed Octane on my laptop (Asus G74SX) and it was working... now it stopped working 2 days ago. I even downloaded the new version of octane but new and old both are giving same error... I have NOT CHANGED anything in my laptop. It was on wireless network from day one. So i don't think Octane needs wired network otherwise i would have never be able to run it.

Please we need help!!!
