Hi, I have a problem importing obj file from Rhino to Octane. The model I did have 15 materials but whrn I import it to Octane as a mesh it appear like a mesh with 200 materials or more. And the program get stuck.

Do any of you know why it could be?

Thanks

Hi,

I have the same problem. But somebody found a way to deal with it. Open your mtl-file with a text editor, mark it, cut it and put it in the window on this page here: http://rhino-3d-obj-mtl-fix.zzl.org/

Then press Submit form and wait for the result (very fast).

Cut or copy the result to your mtl-file and save it. Leave the name of the file unchanged. Then open you ocs in octane and you have a proper file.

Good luck!
