I am curious if the Release Candidate software is running in parallel with Beta development or has Octane moved FROM beta into RC?
Win7 | Geforce TitanX w/ 12Gb | Geforce GTX-560 w/ 2Gb | 6-Core 3.5GHz | 32Gb | Cinema4D w RipTide Importer and OctaneExporter Plugs.
The release candidates forum is where we introduce new features. The first release with new features can have bugs in it that make it hard to work with Octane, or that cause problems in saved scenes. If we are sure those bugs are resolved we will make a commercial release with those features. As of now, the latest commercial release is 2.57. Since this release we added a material preview system, and added functionality to the interface. If this works properly we will make a release with these features in the commercial releases forum.
