To my knowledge, Cuda for OSX is now at 64bit, so I'd like ask if there will be soon an Octane 64bit version for OSX: it's so easy today to break the 2GB barrier when using lot of models and rendering. IMO this would be a top priority for Octane.
Thanks.

Where did you get the GTX560ti for the Mac Pro? Is it simple to install or you need some tweaking/extra cables?

I'd say you'd at least need a power cable to go from the Motherboard to the GTX card. I bought some on ebay for cheap. they are 6pin mini-PCIe to PCIe power adapters.

See not too hard to answer!

Sorry for not being more precise: actually my "Mmmmmhhhhhhhhh... this must be a very difficult question to answer..." was directed to Refractive Software about the initial question "OSX 64bit version: is it possible to have an update?".
Shame we Mac users do not have a 64bit version yet and, what I dislike most, a total lack of answers.
