Hi all, I am really sorry if this has been discussed before, I tried finding something similar but couldn't.

In a base scene (units are set to metric/ meters) if I place two plane objects to illuminate the emission value has to be insanely high (100000.0) to illuminate properly. My environment colour is set to pure black and the scene is one plane for ground, one sphere in the middle and two plane objects on each side of the sphere to illuminate.
What am I missing? In the video tutorial that comes with the 3DS Max plug-in the man set the emission value from 100.0 to 1.0 and the scene was perfectly illuminated.
Anybody?
Thanks a lot.

Oops. I found the problem- units must be set to millimetres. Sorry about that.
