Hi all Octane_heads ;) Actually I was very lazy about participating this competition but got inspired by team mate in our company who was testing Arion Renderer on his PS3 console 3d model, so here's my entry - Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

This model would be available in Evermotion Archmodels vol. 81 collection in a matter of few months probably. It was completly created by myself in Blender 2.49 Unfortunately Octane doesn't yet support normal and bump maps, so I had to use Blender's displace modifier and save everything as a mesh... it has more than 4.8 milions of triangles but hopefully I've managed to render it.

Hope you enjoy, all specs and timings are listed below. Maybe I'll post some more renders of other models I've created for this collection.

Screenshot. Mesh: 4877206 Triangles GPU: GTX 275 OC to 285 parameters

Some fireflies removed in Photoshop, also slight aberration added but mostly these are pure renders.

Thanks everyone for keen coments.
I've got litte angry on myself that I didn't wait ONE more day for the release of beta2 version of Octane... If I knew that would save ma a LOT of time, especialy the new option of using normal and bump maps...

Well, that's life ;)
