Hi all, I know, this problem is not for this forum, but I am searching for answer - How to texture objects in Blender ,when I need change textures in OCTANE... Its supported just a UV mapping..?..or?... Generated or ORCO mapping from Blender are not supported..?..thanks for replys...
Roeland@ Thanks very much for this information... I am not happy from this fact, because in Blender is getting UV map not quick process... But after few tests I am serious Octane enthusiast, I want in close future buy serious licenced version... I think, Octane is better choice like Indigo RT, about Cycles I dont want talking about , because its just a start of developing...
Depending on how organized your modeling work is, UV unwrapping in Blender is actually quite simple. The "smart UV unwrap" tool produces decent UV's in no time at all. Octane will use the UV's to scale any tileable/procedural textures and the results are comparable to Blender's "generated" mapping.
