How to hide from camera octane environment

excuse me for stupid question, but how to hide from camera octane environment like you can hide it by compositing tag in cinema 4d?

it' not possible for now, you can't hide an object only for the camera at this stage :(

It's bad news. Thank you for your answer. I think i can render animation in octane and than export only object buffer from cinema and separate the object from enveronment in adobe after effects. But that's not perfect solution.

now that we have a zpass is more easy to mix the c4d internal render with the octane output but it need a bit of extra work ;)

How about hiding it by giving it a 'portal' material?

unfortunately no because is like completely hide the object and you have the disadvantage that the geometry is charged on vram without be used. the "hide to camera" funcion in general is used when you wont to hide an object but this is still visible in refraction/reflection ecc. ;)
