They just renamed 'faces' into 'tessfaces' for reflecting the fact that they're now derivated from n-gons and not the original geometry.

Geez, what a mess. Thanks Lionel for keeping things going...
I'm staying with official Blender 2.62 & Octane exporter 1.11, though. Everything I need works flawlessly with that version, so don't fix it if it's working...

BTW, do you know if 1.11 is the most recent for the official build? I've made so many updates recently, I don't know which one to recommend for the official...

Actually I must correct myself, 1.11 is quite old and now has that problem of exporting the camera at (0, 0, 0) and upside-down (with official 2.62), and so happens in 1.12
The correct exporter version to use with the official 2.62 Blender build, is 1.13 - the one from this thread.
1.11 / 1.12 are for builds older than 2.62
1.13 is for official 2.62
1.17 is for newer 2.62 builds with bmesh?
any other versions?

Hey everyone its dave62.
dave 62 is posting from inside the forums....
Hi dave 62.
I don't think the integration is going to happen because of licensing.
I agree though Lionel would be a good person for the job.
