Hi,nrygpu wrote:I have been setting up to render a range of frames out using Backburner. Even though I am only rendering on a single GPU system right now backburner seems to allow the frames to keep rendering without a crash of 3ds max.
However I am having a serious issue still with some frames coming out with a ton of noise. Some frames are fine but some filled with noise. This is on the same render job of a range of frames with all same settings for each frame. If every frame rendering out had noise then it would make sense but half are with noise and half without so it makes no sense.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you fix it? Please share...
the frames have noise because Max stops before to complete the max samples assigned variable.
I wrote to Karba about this issue. He has to examine the xml file created in the zip backburner archive.
I don't think it's a kernel issue.
Who use backburner knows that if Max fails to render a frame the manager app try to re-render it again until it is saved.
If the frame is saved then Max(manager-server) proceed with the next frame.
