C4D plugin, please.
I just don't agree, Maya has evolved a HELL lot after it got acquired by Autodesk, ditto for Mudbox. (for example) They have acquired a lot of little plugins for max, that now are bundled into the software, that's evil right??? Besides, why is it to blame rather than Discreet, Refractive Software and others for selling their companies and letting their users down? is that Autodesk's fault as well?Hawker wrote: If you knew the number of software acquired by Autodesk just to see their development slowing down, or even to make them disappear from the market (almost all Realviz suite and others...), not to mention the fact that they kill the concurrency by buying all their competitors (3ds (note: they didn't have to buy this one, they own it from day 1), maya, xsi) ... long live the giga Autodesk Inc...
No fanboys, just facts
Would you say Apple kills innovation?? cause they do exactly the same crap

Excellent news, I think this will launch Octane into orbit!!
All the best!
All the best!
well, I don't think is quite fair to say that Autodesk is evil, they are a company and are out there to make money, and if they are so high up on the food chain right now is thanks to us customers, It's quite simplistic to blame the devil for our bad actions.... but that's besides the point, so...
First of all congratulations to Refractive's Team and in particular to Radiance for his new and shiny title
hope it doesn't come along with one of those L.A.'s busty secretaries, or ur Missus is going to be quite mad
As all around here I love to hear your plans for the future stick to the original idea, which is good news, and if it brings new flavors of Octane along the way the better. Of course as a newly adept to blender I'll love to see an integrated plugin for it (sure there is cycles.... but my love for Octane was first... ) and I'm anxious to see the new flood of coders and people join your team and expand this software and comunity.
So again, congrats to all of you, and I hope the best for a bright future full of Octanites burning GPU's as crazy!

Please send through his email to [email protected] ... We have not found anyone yet with the right qualifications...
Thanks,
