Thank you for version -09. I will download this and test again.
In the current version -08, I’ve edited the octane_anim.cmd file as such:
1) inserted REM before @echo off
2) removed @ at the beginning of every record
3) inserted PAUSE before @exit
I tested this on a new project with 576 scenes. All the scenes are uniquely named with only numbers and a hyphen.
Test1:
With Pixel Samples set at 8, it runs all the way to the end producing 576 scenes.
Test2:
With Pixel Sample set at 900, it runs to scene 57 and stops.
The octane_anim.cmd screen also stops at precisely record 57.
Octane appears to be closed (not shown in taskbar), however, Windows Task Manager shows octane.exe occupying 65,628K of memory but with no CPU activity.

You use Octane 2.52?
I think there was an error in that version to close correctly after saving an image.
Try a newer version...

I'm happy to report that perfect animation is achieved with Octane 2.57 & Octane Sketchup Exporter 1024-09.
TIG, many thanks for your help and quick turnaround with v1024-09 that fixed the "Motion Blur" issue.
face, thank you for chiming in with the tip that solved the "hanging" issue.
