... no, you just need to update the driver (and as you use windows, don't install the toolkit). the panel says your system has only cuda 3.0 installed, means your nvidia driver is pretty old. octane needs cuda 4+. just head over to nvidia.com and get you the latest driver there and it will work :)
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

1x i7 2600K @5.0 (Asrock Z77), 16GB, 2x Asus GTX Titan 6GB @1200/3100/6200
2x i7 2600K @4.5 (P8Z68 -V P), 12GB, 1x EVGA GTX 580 3GB @0900/2200/4400

but which one do i need to update? my geforce gtx 560 m? i ask this because i really don´t know the difference between my gpu and CUDA, because maybe i am wrong but i am trying to find a driver download that says something like - download CUDA 4.0 driver . or something like that and it does not say, all i can download it´s the latest driver for my geforce, is that what i need to do?
sorry for the problems, but i really do not know much about this kind of stuff
thanks

i attached the error that appears when i try to install the latest driver for the geforce, and it says, nvidia installer can not continue, it couldn´t find compatible graphic hardware

so i do not know what to do, i really want to try OCTANE so i can buy it =s

on windows cuda is part of the nvidia driver installation and doesn't need any additional task but installing the appropriate driver.
probably you haven't selected the right one on the nvidia download page? you wrote you have a 560_M_ what means that this is a notebook chip even if you use it on a desktop pc. so look carefully, because 560 and 560M afaik have different driver downloads...
