Hi All
Loaded version 2.57 today as a licensed user and Kaspersky 2012 is claiming that the Octane.exe program is showing behaviour similar to a PDM.keylogger. This is being reported as an amber warning.
Can anybody comment on this please, I am assuming it is a false positive. This is from todays download.
I have seen issues like this previously with small vendor software with Kaspersky, if somebody could check and get back to us please.
Many thanks

because of the online activation octane contains methods to encrypt data on secure/trusted level and transfer it to a specific ip-address. av apps often use very generic methods to "determine" possibly harmful software - often to generic; even original ms software is treated that way sometimes: http://social.expression.microsoft.com/ ... 729262584c
