Enviroment shadow help

Hello, i use hdr enviroment ( road picture ). My object is a car, but then it does not shadow under car.

What to do? Please help. I use 2.57 v.

you mean like shadowcatcher - still not implemented , so you can do alpha image and add shadow in photoshop

I am not sure that it is really the trouble. One reason you may not see shadows can be that your HDR environment doesn't include very contrasted light spots. If the light sources in the HDR images are too large (bright sky, but no obvious sun source), shadows are very soft and may not be even visible at all. It occured to me in a former scene.
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

A way to enchance shadows in the hdri is to tweak its gamma, when more contrast is applied shadows start to appear
