Hi. Trying to import my Rhino OBJ's into Octane. But always imports with one material for all objects. I am using the Labs OBJ exporter with all settings as described in this thread. But no luck. I also imported the OBJ to Modo and the material assignment was correct. So I think the OBJ is OK. But then export as OBJ from Modo and still same problem when importing to Octane. Any clue what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for help!

open the OBJ with a texteditor and look at the first 2-3 lines, it will link to the MTL file there.jbshorty wrote:Hi. Trying to import my Rhino OBJ's into Octane. make sure octane can read the MTL file, it should be next to the oBJ (in same directory)
also, with the v0.81a demo there is a bug that does'nt allow for spaces in directory and filenames of OBJ linked MTL files.
