Hi,

I'm a beginner and I have tried to import a Genesis figure with textures from DAZ Studio. I have obtained my renders, but I have noticed that importing obj files with textures is sometimes a success and sometimes a failure.
Sometimes the obj file appears in the render viewport immediately and I can render it without any problems. Sometimes, there's no change in the viewport, I have the node imported and activated by a click, but nothing happens. I click on "reset camera view", I search my obj everywhere, but there's nothing in the viewport. The viewport is a grey empty space. I have noticed this phenomenon many times.
I have tried to load a render demo scene, like the chess set, and then my obj file. This little trick works every time.
Is it a youth problem of Octane? Is it my inexperience? If you have any advice, I'm here. :D

My system info: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA quadro FX 4800.

Are you using the Daz2Octane plugin?
This sounds like a Video driver issue, be sure to use the required video driver.

Thank you very much... you are right! I have discovered that my CUDA driver was not updated. I have installed the new release of CUDA and now Octane render works and imports very well. ;)
