Hi there

I just used the glass material in the online database... and then just found out that if you double click on this, you can tweak it..

Like in Vray, I model my glass as a box, 7mm thick or so, so it doesn't get too 'refractive'

But you have to use path-tracing to render this, as far as I'm aware

I think if you want to use the quicker direct-lighting renderer, then to get the transparency, you use a glossy material, black I assume, make it very 'specular' and not very 'rough' and bring
it's opacity down, but others will know better as I'm a novice!
