I don't own 3Ds Max but does this work with Goz (out side of displacement maps) at all?

Anyway I can swap licenses from standalone to 3dsmax version? Even for a fee?

I'm not sure what you are asking.
To use the plugin you need to have Octane stand-alone installed as well ie. Octane + plugin together.
If you have a spare stand-alone you want to swap for a plugin I am not sure Refractive would do that but you could ask.
Usually they have a no refund policy I think.
Try emailing them - license at refractivesoftware dot com.
