Does the current blender exporter support movie textures?

@Roubal: no, it's simple animated bump texture and I don't even know where I picked it up at that time :-)
I just had a quick look at your Ripples Maker on blender 2.61 and it looks like nice results could be obtained from there. I really like your approach on this kind of stuff. May be you could improve it by making the texture tillable (If you use 2x2 array modifiers where appropriate and recenter the camera, it should do the trick), square and a size of a power of two ;)

Tadaaa ! I have updated my page and now a version of the Ripples Maker is available, providing Tileable textures !

EDIT : I have just updated the files after I noticed a small error in Offset. It is fixed !
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.
