First Time with Octan for 3Ds Max

Great start ;) Direct lighting is good for quick renderings and tests, but try using Pathtracing or PMC for the most realistic renders possible.
You could use the Direct lighting diffuse option which offers realistic results that are quite similar to Pathtracing/PMC but renders much faster without any caustics.
