Refractive Software(R) is closing the community forums for 3-4 hours the upcoming sunday, the 15th of January 2012, for maintenance and reorganization reasons.
The forum will be unavailable as of 15:00 / 3pm until approximately somewhere in between 18:00 - 19:00 / 6pm - 7pm
All times and dates are Auckland NZ GMT +12.
In Western Europe it will be between 03:00 / 3am and 06:00 - 07:00 / 6am - 7am in Western Europe (GST +1 / Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, etc...)
The main work to be done is changing the layout and forums to accomodate the change in user habits and the arrival of additional plugin products integrating OctaneRender into 3D animation software packages, aswell as trying to improve the defenses against spamming of the forums, which has become a major problem.

The backend work for today is done, we will take the board offline again tomorrow for the remaining work,
Today was mostly behind the scenes server stuff, expect a new forum layout to appear after tomorrow's outage.
The outage tomorrow will be fairly short (10-20) minutes, and will be around 4-5pm NZ time,
Which is 4-5am in Brussels / Paris / Amsterdam.
