The tutorial is available in both German and English.
It covers the Blender Exporter 1.2 and mentions the most common error messages. There also is a brief overview over the Octane UI and problems that you might run into.

Also there is a new one coming on how to render that praying mantis with suitable materials, so be sure to check again next week.

As promised, here is the second part of the tutorial: http://blenderdiplom.com/index.php/de/t ... tis-octane
The tutorial is available in German and English on http://www.blenderdiplom.com
The main topic is creating complex materials in Octane with a special attempt to fake subsurface scattering.
Enjoy

Hi
Did I miss something? I have the Beta 2.52 and I did not see any SSS settings. The SSS Orange Juice looks like glass.
