Hi,

There is no difference between the current beta and the v0.81a demo in terms of compatibility,
therefore if v0.81a does'nt work, the new beta and demo won't work either...

Thanks Radiance, but this means that I only can wait till nvidia has a new driver for my brandnew notebook with the new GeForce GTX 285M, or is there also another driver which I can use for this card?

Hi,
I don't know. last i read from people was that there is no cuda 2.3 capable driver supplied by nvidia yet.
I don't have a laptop with that chipset so i can't tell you,
have you had a look at nvidia website for newer drivers?

Thank you Radiance, hope your post can hurry up some things, it still is strange that when selling certain geforce cards that the driver for this card is missing. They advertise with fastest notebook card ever but when you can't use it this all is useless.

And yes I tried to install the by nvidia suggested driver but my notebook doesn't want to eat it.

yeah, i did, and they wrote me back that the GTX285 is a desktop video card and if they would make laptops with it it would be 4 inches thick and have a battery life of 2 minutes.

So i replied that i'm talking about the GTX285M not the GTX285 cards i think i made a typo or so...
Still waiting for a reply...

Hi,

I wrote this elsewhere (can't remember where),
we've decided not to release a demo of v1.00 (the first beta released) as there is virtually no difference between it and v0.81a demo,
the only difference is the commercial features, so there really is no point other than the graphical changes to the UI.

I'd like to focus my efforts to get beta2 ready and then release a demo of it together.
