by the way, has anybody noticed, that octane uses the ctrl+s shortcut for save? i didn't even try it till last week (for whatever reasons i did that ;)), because neither the file menu nor preferences or the manual gave any hint, so this hidden gem may be already there for a long time...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

Lol, thanks for sharing this. Fearing crashes (which lately are quite rare, but some time ago the experience wasn't so smooth), I constantly click save. :)

One of the interesting things I found out by chance recently, is that when the loader can't find an image and will ask you to specify the path, it will check for images in that path also in case there are other textures missing. I have been doing some re-organizing of my texture folders (basically I just moved entire project texture folders elsewhere) and I was trembling before the idea of having to browse for each missing texture node when I would open a project. Instead I had to specify the folder only once and the loader intelligently looked into that path for every following missing tex. Kudos to whoever coded this in :D
