Can octane render fully made animations from C4D or lightwave? i'm really intrested in buying this software if it can handle animations from c4d

Yes it can, but currently the standalone version uses files to transfer full frames between lightwave or c4d so it slows the time to render between each frame down.
You can do turntable and sunlight animations very fast though staying in octane....

We have a new integration product out that integrates the Octane engine completely into 3ds max,
You may have seen it in our news forum.
It'a features and workflow is perfect for animations.
There will be new similar plugin projects announced for other 3d animation packages soon,
So i would not worry too much...

You could get started with an octanerender standalone copy to learn how octane works and then get the plugin for the host application once its available...

I also recommend trying the demo version first, it missing some features at the moment but its enough to get a feel for it
The exporter scripts for C4D, lightwave, etc... Are only available to customers who purchased a license due to support reasons..
