Hi Guys,
I'm new with Octane and running into some problems. I am exporting objects from rhino to OBJ
When I open these files a very strange almost bitmap like thing is shown on all of my object. I tried numerous settings. But cant get the model to display normaly.
Also I noticed the save and the save image options have been disabled? Is this a demo thing?
Any way.. I have attached a snapshot of my octane screen.
Really hope someone can help me out here.
Thanks
Jonas

Hi Jonas,
the file size is wrong.
If you work in mm in Rhino you have to scale your model * 0.001

like refracty already posted, this is a scale problem. octane's base unit is meters. so your scene looks like beeing some thousand meters large in octane...
if you haven't bought octane yet, you are of course working with the demo version - which by the way is rather old already and misses a lot of shiny new features and enhancements compared to the last commercial beta...
