I have a very small request which would be a handy addition.

As we know we only can run a certain number of unique textures in a scene. As scenes get more complex its easy to loose overview and suddenly you run into the situation of the error message.

I would recommend to put a small texture counter into Octane somewhere which shows me X / 64 textures. I had the situation of the limit for some scenes now and this one would help me a lot. :)

I agree with mbetke, but it would be interesting to have different counters for the different types of textures (64 RGB 24bit ldr textures, 32 greyscale ldr textures, ...).

Having such counter would be nice.

I run now into this problem for the first time now and I see that the number of allowed grayscale textures is only half of RGB ones. The "funny" thing here is that grayscale textures are much more useful and used than RGB. I always try to use a RGB color node in Octane which I multiply with a grayscale tex. and so I can easily control the color of the material, instead of having it "hardcoded" into a RGB texture. The limit of 32 grayscale tex is kinda low...

A RGB to grayscale node would help here.
