this is'nt currently possible. if you work with max, then the upcoming octanerender for 3dsmax should be the best solution:fabiobispo wrote:How can i import multiple objects in Octane Render, because i need import a complex scene, I trying import a big scene from 3D max but when i open it in octane all objects turn one.

another question would be, if you really need that for that for this specifc scene - because if you don't need to rearrange meshes (positions) while rendering, you just need to assign materials to all materials nodes of the scene; assuming the exported .obj/.mtl does indeed provide all materials to octane. did you use the special max exporter for octane, or did you just a wavefront export from the max file dialog? because max won't export some or all materials under some circumstances (i.e. vray materials and proxies)...
btw: afaik an also upcoming update of the standalon version provides a new geometry engine, which should also allow to combine multiple meshes (and will have instancing).
