There is no correspondence between the octane RGB colors and the same RGB in photoshop or other sites that specialize in color (http://www.perbang.dk/rgb/5A5B5D/).
You can confirm a bug in the color scale?

e.g. try rgb 90/91/93 ( HEX:5a5b5d) in photoshop or other software,site ec...
try the same rgb (same HEX)

You can see that the colors are totally different!!

Thanks a lot for your attention

Can we have a no falloff (or constant falloff) option in the gradient tool, so we can avoid doing this:
gradient-breakpoints.png
ie. creating twice as many breakpoints as necessary, which is tedious to manage

usually they fail when you overload the vram, if that's not the case and you are using the 2.55b it could be also that there is a bug right now with pmc kernel and SSS, if that's not the case post a more detail explanation of what's happening in case is a new bug. It's not a bad GPU althou a little slow, but that shouldn't be a problem.

I've had that mystery message a fair bit too.
Never had it until this latest release.
I think its an Octane bug although I'm not sure of the cause but perhaps its also driver related...
Hopefully its something fixed in the next one.
If its too disruptive go back to a previous release in the meantime ;)
