Whenever i try to open Octane I am getting this error message: "The preferences file doesn't exist or is corrupt and needs to be updated. Please connect to the internet and launch Octane again." Why am I getting this? It was working just fine earlier today.
Please help me if you have got any clue what might be wrong, this is becoming really annoying.

Octane server was offline for a few hours, but on again.
In file menu it is "Save as Default", if you do this a new preferences file is saved.
Cheers, mib.
