Hi all,

I've playing around with a scene and when I put the sun in december it seems to have the same elevation that in june. All the rest of the months seem to be right.

I'm using v1 beta 2.52

Yes, the sun direction calculation is wrong for december, this will be fixed in a next release. Thanks for the report.

Ok, welcome.

I have a question about sun calculation:
Is it accurate? I mean, Is it based on real data or is it an approximation (it seems quite real).

I ask this because I need to do some tests with the orientation of a design and if I can do it with octane straight forward then I will save a lot of time
