Same here,
I've tried Octane 1.025 252 and also 1.024 beta 2.45 will not access the octanelive server, keeps timing out.
1.025 252 works but only in offline mode which denies the use of the LiveDB resources.
I seem to recall with a hardware update and re-installation of Windows a while ago, there was an issue activating Octane with a wireless network (wireless broadband account), and last time I had to enable the LAN on the PC so that Octane could see it(whether it used it or not was debatable..) It worked. But now I am connected via a directly wired LAN connection to the router and it still does not work.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Hi,

Our OctaneLive server was down, but the problem has now been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I never was affected by the issue so far but what if I cant render near a deadline because the server is down and I can't auth? or is "just" the liveDB affected?

Why are materials in my scene not saved locally which i got from liveDb? I think this is a severe issue if i cant render without internet.

Materials imported from liveDB are saved locally within your scene, so there should be no problem with rendering offline.
