Smoothing Problem?

Folks

First time I see something like this happening when rendering a .3ds model I've downloaded and exported to .obj via 3DSMax.

Any ideas? Smoothing is enabled everywhere.

I would check the scene scale. Sometimes that will create the triangles when the scene is too large.
