I've done some searching in this forum and just ran a few tests but was hoping for further insight from others. When using a Phong material type, 'color' and 'specular color' transfered to Octane. Maps however don't seem to transfer such as bump. Is there a certain work flow that is known to work for basic Maya material transfer? By basic, I mean a material with a bump map or a specular material with an IOR value set in Maya. I'm thinking about how to use Octane for animation rendering out of Maya if the majority of material attributes will need to be set on the Octane side. Are there known methods?
Any advice is appreciated.
