Octane AutoMat is a small program that automates material nodes creation.
It creates a white Diffuse material node for each pin of mesh node and automatically connect them, freeing you from repetitive task, which may take long time in complex scenes.

Usage: just drag an ocs file onto program icon, the alternated file will be created in the same directory as the source file.
Program has been successfully tested on (unmodified) files created with Soft2Octane 2.5x, but it may also work with other exporters.
I didn't have opportunity to test them, so your feedback would be much appreciated.
Since it's an early version, I'm opened for suggestions and request for additional functionality.
