Very photo real, however the books could be randomized
Win8 Pro 64bit ULT|Intel Core i7 3930K|3.20 GHz|32 GB RAM|GTX 590|UD5 2011 socket||2x TB HD||Master Cooler HAF X||Blender 2.6||Maya 2012||Octane|
thanks radiant yeah i agree with you maybe i have to work with the textures on them or try to randomized them like you said to have a natural feeling
maybe some times im so impatient to have the image working so i let some textures without modified.

hi tomas_p not right now because i usually like to model everything from 0, so it takes me some time depend of what is my subject but i think this week i will upload some interiors i was working before thanks also there are 4 renders y made in the high tech loft topic.
Is it me or is it a bit 'soft'? A little bit out of focus?
I struggle with getting a pin sharp focus point. Compared to Maxwell its a bit of a chore.
I am new to octane so it could just be my learning curve.
Other than that, its got a luscious touch.

Hi Warren, for a sharper image you can do the following:
- In the kernel node decrease filtersize to 1.
- Use the focus picker (the button with the letters AF) to pick which point you want in focus. Note that this disables the autofocus, so you have to repeat after you move the camera. Octane by default keeps the center point of the image in focus.

hey warren yes i let the autofocus enable because i have a column right front of the camera so i would put more attention to the other parts of the room not to the column thats why is like out of focus thanks and roeland thanks for the tip i didnt know how to disable the autofocus part

Yep good tip, will try it out today and let you know. I was aware of the autofocus dropper and use it alot to compose DOF shots. Why would the default filtersize settings be set to slightly soft? From a newbies pov the easier it is to achieve a decent render the less frustration.
