HI THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I USE OCTANE RENDER THIS IS A LOFT, UNIVERSITY PROYECT FROM ARCHITECTURE IM STILL LEARNING NODES, I ALREADY MADE SOME INTERIORS WITH PATHTRACING I WILL POST THEM LATER, IF SOMEONE HAS A TIP TO GET THE EXTERIOR WORKING BECAUSE IF I PUT NORMAL PARAMETERS I GET TOO BLACK MY SCENE BUT WHEN LEVEL UP THE EXPOSURE AND THE ISO IT GETS TOO WHITE FROM EXTERIOR AND MY REFLECTIONS ON MY WINDOWS DISSAPEAR OR IF I PUT THE FSTOP TO THE LOWEST LEVEL SAME THING I WILL APRECIATED THANKS.

Hi lol yeah forgot to turn it off
, but i mean by normal parameters is let the exposure iso and fstop by default and i see my reflections but my scene is too dark, since i have three big windows if is phiscally based software does it try to emulate a real light in a room why im still to modify those parameters? if someone coual teach me some tricks with nodes

Try take a photo from a real room. Then you see that the parameters of the shot are various and change automatically, while in octane render you should do it manually.

Hi relox!relox wrote:...IF I PUT NORMAL PARAMETERS I GET TOO BLACK MY SCENE...

I once had the same problem, and I used bum_maps, or play parameters "normal", or select "Enabled in "normal" sections, sometimes normals_maps is wrong prepared.
regards.

Hi manos!! well i was talking about my main problem is the amount of light in my loft i was getting too dark my loft living room, so i decide to put more iso in the current imager preset in octane then my reflections on my windows turn them to white and i lost them and if i put my iso to down levels my reflections come back but again my scene was too dark, then piernik tell me about some problems with normal maps, if you have some problems with bump and normal maps you get black materials try to check the invert on the diffuse material to get your normals map to the right position thats what are we talking about. thanks for watching and if you still having pr
oblems try to upload a pic of your scene and i will help you with that
